Now that the big storm is winding down we patiently wait for the sounds to fill back in along with the hundreds of creeks and rivers.........water is down over four feet in some areas

We were already beginning to catch crappie up next to the cypress trees last weekend..........the fish I caught shallow Wednesday had not spawned out yet but both males and females were up in the wood looking for that perfect spot to lay eggs........Nature has a way to sustain and overcome.........

You can see the main river in the distance but Mother Nature displays the power...........the same force that gives some folks undesired high water provides an opposite effect here in Eastern North Carolina ........as long duration wind events empty our waters ..............
