Really nice crappie Jason and how deep was it ?

It's interesting because without the nibbles I've caught mostly crappie, but with them I've caught mostly gills and decent sized ones at that, same baby shad (blue ice or threadfin shad)......seems ironic because they're CRAPPIE nibbles afterall hahaha

I love them for gills also Jason.....the ones I just posted are all set up for gills and I keep the nibbles on board too....like them in white and pink.......

Jeffrey, tipped with crappie nibbles, I've been catching lots of good gills with the shad instead of crappie!!

Here's a few rigged the other way Jason.........I really haven't experienced a difference fishing under a float.....

I feel the same way Jason.....some of the techniques I use today were by accident over the years.....fishing is truly an experiment.....I enjoy that part of it.....

Jeffrey, whatever works.....I'll do it!! Lol

I've caught fish either way Jason......I agree you get a better hook profile coming out of the straight section of the body......Sometimes what looks good to my eye isn't the best way to fish a particular bait......I still tip the baby shad when I fish it......Since I fish them under a float I don't think it makes a big difference for me....
