Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I had to use that Eagle Claw Grass Shrimp today after talking about it last night...11/4/2012

Gills were hitting this shrimp pretty good fished six to eight feet deep on a drop off from the river bank.....Water temperature was 58 degrees and we had a heavy overcast and high 40s for air temperatures.....

Thanks Jeffrey, I am going to their home page to see where I might find them near here. I bet the yellow perch would like them too.

Eagle Claw has a home page where you can put in your zip code Vince.......I convinced a local tackle shop to stock them......I bet they would work other places......they're very durable by design which is cool!

Where do you get those grass shrimp Jeffrey? I would think they would be good even in waters that do not have grass shrimp in them. They look really good.

Thanks Jim and I have been pleasantly surprised this weekend because we are way below normal for air temperatures which has pushed water temperatures down up to 11 degrees in some of the creeks I fish.....

The cool thing is Jeffrey, is that you are maintaining success despite the cold conditions.
