Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Dick insisted that I have a few to test on the Albemarle while he continued to refine the Jelly Jig........truth be told this jig was hot right out of the box and I landed more than 3.000 panfish on the final version last year.......his work is top shelf!

Jelly Jigs are in the box... had a blast with them all summer long... especially with the crappies. Toothy preds like em too as you can see im down from 12 to three. one of the first fish i hooked with these jigs was a master angler sized crappie that i lost trying to get it through a 6 inch hole while ice fishing. would of loved to get the Jelly Jig in the books. Im still working on the master angler crappie and feel that this jig has a great chance on producing that fish for me. Yep Dick's got a real winner there.

Jeffery;; Dick Tabbert has come a long way in fly tying; and those jelly jigs; are no doubt; the best new jigs; and will remain at the top for many years to come !  Its going to take something; real exceptional to top these !

I saw this picture and I was reminded how far Dick has come on the Jelly Jig...........if you look closely the pink one doesn't have eyes or gills and it was exactly what I like......PINK.......but Dick continued his craft and the bait is a legend in many parts of the country now.......thanks again Dick for your expert work and generosity, it has been a blast to fish a "Jelly Jig" the last couple years........
