These were caught on a river lake, essentially just a widened portion of a river. Definitely catch most of mine in creeks and rivers. That day we caught 8 redbreast, 6 redear and 19 bluegill. And 1 largemouth but it doesn't count in my book,lol. I have been keeping track of exact numbers and making more detailed fishing logs to help establish better patterns.

Sweet looking fish and very nice size !Southern ones have more of a yellow or orange breast like a Pumpkinseed.Northern ones are more red breasted I've noticed. You catch the RBs in a river,small stream,lake or pond? I am curious as I usually run into them while fishing moving water but bigger ones in good sized lakes.
