I saw your picture, amazing fish. I think I would fall over dead if I tagged an 18" crappie, white or black. I've seen 3 over 16" in my life, and I'm pretty sure I fainted a little when I saw each of them... ;)

Very cool Matt! I just recently released a giant, possible lake record 18 incher. (Photo on this website) Those two male you have there spawners have beautiful markings! Great catch!

Good for you, Matt! Releasing trophy panfish is one of the final frontiers of freshwater angling.

Jim, we throw 'em back when they're that big. Especially the guarding males... Any crappie over 14.5" goes back, and every 'gill over 9" goes back!
