Downed timber in the swamp was holding fish today.....
I fished all around the downed trees and flooded wood today for the best results......

Couldn't agrre more Mike...realistically...8 different species of fish would not be uncommon to catch on this river......

I hooked a four pound bass in the back pocket pictured......having him on the ten footer in this cover was a disadvantage and I couldn't slow him down to net him....he ended up getting behind that log on the right and that was the end but it was a fun and interesting 30 seconds for sure.....
