Thanks guys!....Jim the crappies in this particular lake are about "average"....no "wall hangers" here...11"ers are on the bigger end...sometimes a 12"...this isn't my "go to" lake for big crappies...those are farther north along the Canadian border(Canadian Shield lakes)...where you run into 12"+ biggies consistently...of course there are smaller lakes in the area that do carry larger crappies also....but for me it's the bigger northern lakes (about an hour+ north of me)...Voyageurs Park lakes along the border with Canada....Sandpoint Lake is one of my favorites....Lake of the Woods.....Upper Red Lake...Namakan...Lac La Croix...Vermillion...Pelican...these are "big" bodies of water that carry "big" crappies....
