Do you love big bluegill?
Another 9 inch coppernose was the best of the day....No tens yet this year, but that should change soon....

The fins reminded me of those you see on carp and catfish, whose fins turn leathery when they get big.
very nice..
Thanks guys...good eye on the opaque fins David....
way to go jeff
Biggun - notice how the fins have thickened and turned opaque....
You and me both Tony....I thought I had one today but that's pure speculation as I didn't get my hands on him....sometimes the big fish are harder to land on smaller terminal tackle that I fish early season.....The biggest fish to come out of the creek I've fished this month are usually Summer fish..I released a fish in 2005 that was just a little over 11 inches but I haven't seen him since........
I can't wait to see you start posting some tens, and bigger! I know it's just around the corner.
The copper was flashing on this Gill.....The cheeks were just vibrant....Let them all go to get Bigger......Almost Metallic coloring!
