Thanks Trent for the acknowledgement. The Red Ear were caught on 1/32oz. Mini Spinner Baits, Gold Blade, 1" Black/Cart Crayfish, and 4lb. Line. They would hit like a ton of bricks because they were on the beds. The same locations produce year after year if weather conditions cooperate.
Jim I really don't know. I just kept some of the larger ones for this mount and we ate some of the others. It was in the third week of April and we were fishing the Mid-Section of Lake Guntersville. The shore line cuts North of Clays Marina on the Western Shore.
