That's cool stuff, Greg. I got out today, too in rain and about 45 F temps...both air and water. Wormed it and got about 45 total gills. 1 bass and a couple of pumpkinseeds. I kept 14 gill to fillet...cool!
Hey Man, it's almost Dec and we're catching fish...they don't all have to be big!
Imagine, done in by an egg-suckin leech! The shame....!
Jim, I am not keeping score on the patterns. I can cast the jig with the four weight fly rod 1/80 oz. jig is still a little big going to get the smaller size. Fish were 6' to 8' deep on a mud and rock flat, soaking up the warm sun. Your jigs look a lot better than mine do. Will work on it. Back to work tommorrow, Thankful for blue gill and the places I have to go to catch them, and My BIG BLUE GILL FAMILLY. Happy THANKSGIVING to everyone in BBG Family.
Tight Lines
Greg
