YES JOHN; I DO HAVE IT MARKED IN 1 FT. INCREMENTS;; ITS A LOT TRUER DEPTH ACTUALLY THAN A DEPTH FINDER;; THE POLE IS 9 FT LONG; BUT YOU CAN ALSO MAKE IT AS LONG AS YOU WANT IT -- JUST GO TO THE PLUMBING DEPT. AT THE HARDEWARE GET END PLUGS AND PVC GLUE AND; IF YO UWANT IT LONGER; GET 2 PVC PIPES CUT ONE TO THE LENGTH YOU  WANT THE WHOLE ONE TO BE; THEY HAVE CONNECTORS ; FOR EXTENSIONS.. I ALSO HAVE A VERY HEAVY WIRE; PIG TAIL TWISTED ONTO ONE END OF IT;; SERVES AS A LURE RETREIVER;; JUST TWIST THE WIRE ONTO YOUR LINE; RUN THE POLE DOWN IT;; BUMP IT A FEW TIMES; IT WILL DISLODGE THE LURE; BRING IT UP !  IT WONT SAVE ALL OF THEM; BUT WILL RETREIVE 80 PERCENT OF THEM !  ALSO;; IF YOU WANT TO TRY; FROG GIGGING;; WORKS EXCELLENT AS A GIG POLE !  ALUMINUM POLES; WILL BEND TO EASY;; YOU CAN DOUBLE THE PVC WITH OUT BREAKING OR A PERMANENT BEND !

Carl!-What do you use to plug the ends with ?  I know a spot this poling would be perfect for ! How long is the pole  ?

FOLKS;; I KEEP THAT POLE ON MY BOAT AT ALL TIMES;; FOUND SO MANY USES FOR IT;; WOULDNT DREAM OF LEAVING IT AT HOME !  IF YOU MAKE ONE; ( COST ABOUT 3 DOLLARS FOR THE PVC PIPE; 4 OR 5 DOLLARS TO PLUG THE TWO ENDS;; BE SURE !!  TO PLUG BOTH ENDS !  IT WILL SINK LIKE A ROCK IF YOU DONT !
