Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Here's my Foam and Bottle Brush fly, floating.
I dropped it into a cup of water and it's been floating now for 45 minutes.
Then I banged at it and smacked it around - and it sank.
So it's as I said:
1. It hits the water and floats.
2. After a while, it'll sink.
Give it a tug if it hasn't gotten any hits, and it'll dip beneath the waves and go wet.

PS try em both ways - with foam body and without.
When you do it without foam, use two feathers back-to-back.

Thanks Vince
It's really just a big wad of feather, but the fish liked em last season.
If there was any cover, with calm conditions. You could get a rise to these.
I never really caught any whoppers on them, but they got attention.

John,
A slightly beefier underbody and itll float much longer.
The foam is compressed by thread along the entire length on this one. I did this in the interests of keeping a sparse body, and retaining the sinking option.
Tying it on as plump segments, like a worm, will give it more buoyancy should you want a purely top floater.
