that Bitsy Minnow is great down in the Altamaha River also!! The White-Silver is the best. It's unusual that in the ponds I only catch Bass, in the River i only catch Bream?????????

I fish them very slow, and occassionally allow them to drift slowly to the top. Sometimes, I'll just twitch them and wait for the surface strike, which can be explosive!

Great fish!! I have a bunch of those Bitsy Pond Minnows. I should use them more!

I also noticed the edging (light borders) on the fins and the bright orange ventral fins. They seem to indicate a green sunfish as an ancestor. That's a beauty!

Look at the fins there is the yellow edges that come from the sunfish.
These are just like I have in my pond

I guess I don't understand what you mean by edging. It does seem that the tail is tasty.

Thanks! Didn't weigh it, was close to 10 inches long. Notice the edging on the fins and the gillflap. From a hybrid standpoint, I'd say 90% bluegill/10% green sunfish. There a bunch of these in this pond and they are similar in size and appearance leading me to believe they are from a separate stocking a few years back.
