I tip everything I fish without a treble hook B.T. This started for me with little beetle spins tipped in my grandparents stock ponds back in the 70s and continues today with great success.....Throw a cricket on a black beetle spin on the lower Edisto River in South Carolina and for me, the biggest Redbreast of my life.....Minnows and Live Grass Shrimp added to jigs in the bayous and lakes of Louisiana for some great slab Crappie and Bull Brim....My grandpa Abney showed it to me as a kid and I can't break the habit....Mr. Gronaw has introduced me to some great Grass Shrimp patterns, tip these baits and you're on to something special where I fish......I don't always use two at a time but I was playing around trying to entice some bigger fish....sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't....LOL

Texas? They say everything is bigger in Texas!

Hey...Federico...does that mean I have to tie yours on a 6/0 hook with buzzard feathers for a hackle? Just kiddin'!

Seriously, I have been experimenting with some newer shrimp patterns that are easy to tie and I will be posting some more pics and tying instructions soon. I have been using some 'core braid' for jig bodies and I think they may be a hit as well. They definately work back east and in the Carolinas.

Hey Vince...the interview process is extensive, but the boss said he'd be willing to wave the whole process. Shot me a PM and I'll get you some jigs to try out.

Hey Jim, If you need a Georgia field tester for that jig, I am applying for the job.
