Are you guys acclimating fish for stocking?

I added 100 fingerling bass and 400 hybird blue gills to my pond. ( 3-4") 10/08/09
Set the bag in water till temp. the same
Then let-m go. Bass are about 7 to 8" now 12/11/09 ain't seen one bluegill yet.
