Nathan, These bluegills were caught on a hump in 15 feet of water post spawn on waxworms and a few on crickets. This day we fished 3 lb with a 2lb florocarbon leader a #14 short shank aberdeen and one bb. It would take about 20 seconds for the bait to reach bottom. These big gills were light biters and if you weren't paying attention your bait was gone.
