Sad. How many big ones are left? Some of those are obviously huge. 10.5 inch in great body condition is probably 1-5?

I've got the same thing going on in one of my ponds this year. I saw many that were locked in the ice as I augered holes a couple weeks ago. Ice is coming off now. When I looked today I also saw largemouth up to 16" floating. Nothing in nature goes to waste. Don't collect them. Bad for us, but a great find for the birds, raccoons and other scavengers.
