Yes, that's out of one of my ponds. He's less than three years old. And he was definitely released. I hope I see him again in another three years!

Wow! Now that's a thick fish! The gill in my profile was 10 3/4 in, but just over 1 pound. Yours is a pig! I'm jealous. Congrats!
