Do you love big bluegill?
24 lb DVL Striper
This fellow bass fisherman caught this giant Coppernose BG at California's Diamond Valley Lake. He never weighed or measured it before releasing it! It may have been a new lake record Bluegill! Any guesses as to it's weight?

No he was fishing for bass with a plastic worm on a drop shot rig I believe. He didn't know what it was because "Bluegills don't get that big."

Har to tell without a measurement...I'd give it between 2 and 2 1/2. Great, great fish!
