Do you love big bluegill?
Here we go again, soft hackle v. 453.
This one has four seed beads on as a body. These beads have a metallic, insect like iridescence that is pretty awesome.
The hackle is just some scrap from the pile, a dyed pheasant hen plume. In the natural state, these would be "church window" feathers.
The head is my usual, and favorite, shellac'd black thread bead. No bug should be without one.
These should have a good sink rate, and a nice sparkle in the water. The bluegill are gonna love 'em!
