Well Bruce, it's not a big lake... when the lake was full it was 2,250 surface acres and 10 miles of shoreline. I'll bet there is only about 6 or 7 miles of shoreline now. But it's such a fertile lake. There is just so much food and nutrients in the water. Huge aquatic insect hatches daily. Huge amounts of shad and crawfish. Lots of reasons for the quality size of the panfish.
