Do you love big bluegill?

Still a subtle bite in rather chilly water......Air temperature didn't get to 40 today.......

Another frontal boundary today and yet another dose of rain......passing through like train cars right now!

Yes Mike, I caught 9 gills and 11 channel cats today  in 44 degree water on a cold day.....I too believe it is going to be a great 2013.......I'm eager for the warmer weather now.........on and off cold weather is no good for any of us!

Nice one,did you catch those today?I did pretty good today i think this is going to be a very productive year.All fish caught today were released to fight again.:)

Thanks Mark.....I had an invite to Northwest and another to Indiantown......but the rivers are all stained and it's still a bit breezy/cold today.....just decided to go sit in the woods on a local sand pit....catfish bite is still aggressive......caught a few decent gills but the bite is slow.........ready for a warm-up and our bite will take off!

I was back at the Sand pit again today Tooty.......lots of sandy areas so the gills are much lighter than the swamp gills......

Wow these fish look alot lighter in color Jeffrey than the ones from last summer and fall !!!!!!! NIce fish though and ice should be all gone here next week I hope !!!!!!! Still got skim Ice on some of the ponds though..........
