60 for eating ? Wow, were you feeding the whole neighborhood ' just kidding. Bluegills are the best tasting fish that are out there.

I think it is got some green sunfish in it, there are regular gills, green sunfish and of course their hybrid kin all in this lake, they are all good eating though.
I turn loose the real big ones, figure keep em around for spawning, I kept 60 today for eating. I keep the 8-10 inch ones for eating. got to keep em thined out so they don't get over populated and get stunted.
