Three friends including BBG member Brian Behe came in this weekend for some wonderful gill fishing.....we had a great time and caught a few dandy gills but Mother Nature dealt us some tough cards the entire weekend... what was lost in fishing was made up in good conversation with good people.....Thanks for a good weekend guys and look forward to splashing again soon......This was the fish of the Weekend!

Thanks guys...I'll take a few pictures during the rain this week and talk a little more about Splash jigs David....in essence it's just a multi color jig head......

Thank you all....this one was caught on a "splash" jig tipped with a 1" chartreuse shad Gulp alive minnow and tipped with a live cricket....I was going back and forth with live grass shrimp also and both were effective.....

The rod is Great J.B. I'll add a few pictures and Tooty might discuss pole construction as he made it for me....Nice little piece....
