Do you love big bluegill?

We're cooking Crabs, frying some gills, Boiling fresh white corn, pot of Kentucky Runners seasoned with Slab Bacon....It's all good!

That IS a nice trash can lid!

Fathers Day lineup looks like this...

steamed crabs, steamed shrimp, BBQ chicken on the grill and deep fried bluegill fillets.

I got some uppidy relatives who likely won't eat the gill fillets...they only eat 'government approved ' stuff you buy at the store. Give me a break!

That's OK...more for me...yaahooo!

Very good fish! And, a pristine looking trash can lid....... I'm not sure I've ever seen one that wasn't full of bullet holes!

Nice fish!  Sounds like a great meal.  Gotta question.  What's a "Kentucky Runner"?  I'm a cook by trade, and that's a term I'm not familiar with.  I'm assuming some kind of bean or green?
