March 2010

1)Turned a Largemouth dragging a tube jig in the NW cove by the inlet pipe ST Pats day 2)Went back next day casted a 1/32nd oz. white BT jig and got the 1st March 2010 fish .15" Bass
3)3-19 water temp at 3 ft ;46 degrees air temp low 70's Cupsaw w/Steve O. two avg.(10") Crappie out of fallen tree both on white 32nd oz.btail jigs ...One BG ,One bass on Rattlin' flash spoon tipped w/ worm piece ...south west wind blowin on mid lake east shore before point/flat Rock related fish

4)3/22,2-3:pm Shore fishin NW Pipe inlet cove:Jim Gronaw's 32nd 'CritterJig" on #4 test took the most and bigger gills today. after short bites on 32 oz 8 lb test( Largemouth effort) got pecks ,
switched to #4 test on other rod caught first three fish (2 bg one PSeed/SF) on 64th white Zonker of my own poor creation..after a 20 minute session
switched to Jim Gronaw's 64th oz brown/white /red /black jig and the bigger gills came into focus...caught 7 or so more
Hadta go, left them hittin in the rain by a pipe inlet in a NW cove Water temp 50 deg. in 3 fow
5)2 Degrees cooler than yesterday jigs-tipped w crawler pieces and mealworms only produced 5 fish :2 gills 2 Bass 1 Yperch...the artist of bait stealing
6) Cold weather knocked the water temp down to 44 degrees and no fish at the NW Cupsaw inlet pipe
