Yeah, they work all year. I like to use them in early spring mostly. The spoons and horizontal jigs work all year definetly. I like tipping them with live bait. Some of the verticl jigging rapalas work well, and you can remove the bottom hook and add a line and live bait or another jig.
I get a lot of my stuff at a local bait shop. The big stores like Basspro and Cabela's, Gander Mountian. Ebay is a good place, just becareful not to buy things that are to big. There is a lot of jigs on ebay right now. The Ratfinkee, and grub is hard to find.

Yes, the rat finkee and grubs and most of the verticle jigs work when they are being picky. The others usually if thye are biting, you can get the bigger ones to take. The spoons I have used the least. I friend tells me they are good for attracting the ones not wanting to bite. But yes I have caught many, alot in early spring also on the ice jigs. Usually I tip them with maggots or spikes. I like the ones they have that are dyed.

Thanks for doing this! Have you caught fish on all of them?
