Chicago Fishing League Event 2
Event 2 was cancelled because of the 20 - 40 mph winds and 48 degree temps. I stayed to see what the fishing would be like and it was difficult. I had to work a lot to catch these 157 fish using ground bait and loose feeding grubs over a spot. There were three times I was snapped off by larger fish while fishing for blue gills most likely by small carp or channel catfish

This was at Lake Arlington in Arlington Heights. It is a fantastic fishery because it is catch-and-release and it offers a lot of natural food/shoreline.
