NE wind Quickly lost small bass on Brown Kalin Grub(bigger hook or smaller grub?)
No luck at Tree and SE Stream bed...BGills revealed themselves in shade at a SW dock/concrete wall with broken rock bottom hit jig reluctantly but hammered Mealworms and Crawler pieces slip floated at 2 feet,2 Bass same way 1 Bass on 32nd oz white Buck Tail Jig.
4)shore: 4-7-10 37 fish 'tween 12:30-2:10...56 degree water temp! 12 degrees higher than same spot a week ago!Slip Floating 1/4 crawler pieces on #4 test @2&1/2-3 &1/2' casted 10- 30 feet from shore @ NW pipe inlet cove..25 Gills 3 Crappie,5 sm LM Bass,3PS.1 WP
Jigs got hit and rejected with exception of a few bass by the pipe ...worm and #8 (eagle claw species specific ,crappie hook) was the way to go. Bobber at 2&1/2 ' sunk and swam away .Bobber at 3&1/2 fell over on side and fish rose to bait and were on .Very active gills !Crappie fought hard too .Small bass were swimming hard.
5)Dropped a few sm Bass on Beetle Spin and Home made spinner ...spoons(Dardevle Flutter Chuck and Acme 1/8 oz. Kamlooper finally started producing a few with the warmer water ... Mojo Reefer worked slowly with short twitches near botom in 6' got the best Bass (13-14") Best producer was Slip floated meal worm on Eagle Claw #8 hook
