Thanks Jim....my goal is to have some of the larger gills die of old age....I will clean a larger fish from time to time but I get a tremendous amount of satisfaction out of releasing these larger fish and going back to a location and scoring again with big gills....It works for me on the rivers and creeks I fish....I don't consider myself a bass angler but I catch hundreds every year and I only clean a few smaller fish for some recipe favorites thus releasing many a big largemouth...Over the years with education, trials and tribulations I have learned the importance of conservation and I'm already reaping the benefits of my personal efforts when I watch my grandsons catching pound class gills in our local rivers.....that's all I needed to see to continue my quest!

Those are some pretty fish there:)

The coolest thing is that those fish are still in the system. I have been preaching for 15 years the release of top-end panfish species...and it still has yet to catch on in my region. For world class fisheries to remain, this is essential to make it happen.

Well Done!
