Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Flooded Boscoyos and Reeds are good Bluegill Grounds

Great place to start tight to the bank and fish out off the bank and cover.....Many times your strike will come ten feet or more off the bank.......

YOU ARE A VERY LUCKY MAN SIR JEFFREY!!!!!!!! LIGHTENING!!!!!!!!!!!! IF OLE TOOTY saw one stroke of lightening I"d be off the water and all you'd see is a vapor trail from were I was!

Wish we had some rain here and the Docs pond , one of em I fish, said a fella and kids were out 2 evenings ago and hammered the big gills. I'll be there in a couple days with the old fly rod and see If I can't post some fish pics instead of tackle pics for a change.

Yeah....I'm on my lunch break now Tooty and you can see what I'm thinking about.......Long Summer days so I'll get out this afternoon if we don't have those thunderstorms rocking us again today! I can do a little rain but no lightning for this kid!

I'VE NEVER BEEN ACCUSED OF BEING LAZY BUT BELIEVE I"d have to call in to work once in a while if I had spots like that to fish. I"d much rather have fished and thought about work than worked and thought about fishing!!!  Hopefully my days of work are behind me , except for making bugs of course.

Appreciate it Tooty.....that work thing is getting harder and harder! Places like this help me to have a good balance between work and pleasure......
