Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These fish are rough on the drag......hooked shallow and they immediately go deep and dig in the bottom........

Absolutely Troy........we are very fortunate to have an abundant supply of healthy Florida Strained bluegill which demand respect but when it comes to the sunfish tug-o-war it goes to the Shellcracker hands down.........These fish are easily mistaken for one of the abundant predators in the region .......I even up my line size above ten pound test in the regions that hold a nice supply of redear...........hoping for a few more this weekend

I'm sure you can tell the difference between a shellcracker and a bluegill once hooked?
