Do you love big bluegill?
A great destination for big Coppernose and swamp shellcrackers.......Biggest percentage of this water is completely covered by a hardwood canopy which makes the fishing good all day long in the Summer...Provides shade which holds water temperatures in the 70s to near 80 during the Summer....

That place just looks like it would be a blast to fish, Jeffrey. It kinda reminds me of a place I use to fish off the Chattahoochie River here in GA.,minus the black water. Well placed side arm casts under the branches is how I caught my best gill ever.
FIELD TRIP!!!
It has recovered from a major fish kill in 2003 from Hurricane Isabel....I've caught bass up to 8 pounds and have seen a fish a little over 10 in recent years.....lots of 2 to 6 pound bass.....big bowfin and channel catfish also...pound class Coppernose and Redear up to 12"........it's about four miles long...
Are there big bass in that area?
Don't let tooty in that area or buy stocks in the supply company
