Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

I was being rewarded for fishing a little deeper in heavy cover......tree tops and flooded tupelo gum trees.......

Yeah there's even an article I read once here in which a man placed catfish lines on his dock and put bubble gum on the circle hooks and caught all the catfish he wanted this way.....Sometimes you just scratch your head!  I've caught catfish on little chunks of Ivory bar soap and had to see it for myself to believe it...thus I saw it and still know people that swear by it......

I KNOW ABOUT THE PINKS!!!!!!!! JUST TEASING YOU BUDDY and no one can argue with your success with that color. Isn't funny however were in different parts of the country different colors work superior to others. Blues, purple, and variations work well here and sometimes pinks, but not all the time. Can't figure it out but Master LEo says the blues have great success due to light conditions in the water and also the spectrum of light itself. Well I'm sure he knows more about it than me and will just go with that explanation for the time being...........

It's got to be pink Tooty....I can't argue with the thousands of fish caught on pink in these rivers......
