Do you love big bluegill?

A big 10 inch Flier off the Little River near Deep Creek...

I released this guy to get fat for next year......so many Fliers just ounces from a world record...One of these days! This fish was caught on the Silent Stinger tipped with a waxie.....

Would have never even looked at them before joining BBG and reading the testimony here Tony....I had to mail order them and several were black when I got them....don't know much about them but my fish probably haven't seen them and I had some good takes today....Give those crickets a try when you plan to keep a few fish for the table...

Jeffrey, if you're experimenting with waxworms, does this mean I should try tipping with crickets??? big grin

Look closely Tooty....the Fliers took to the Silent Stinger today on a different river.....Caught some good fish today and I was just beginning to lather up when the approaching thunderstorms started to announce their presence so I had to shut down abruptly but I like what I was seeing.....I tipped with wax worms and crickets from time to time....mixed it up for the experiment......a.k.a. Field Test.....
