I wouldn't say there boring Chris when fishing with light tackle.  I target them sometimes out here in MD during the summer.  Their rather easy to get a strike and some of the larger ones can take a pretty nice run.  But to each their own.  Still Nice fish keep them coming!

That's weird ,is an In Fisherman video of fly fishing for Carp that looks pretty exciting.

Trebbleman doesn't look sad with the catch either.

Actually these fish are very boring. Like reeling in a rock that moves every once and a while. I never target carp so I really don't know

Gotta be a great thrill catching a fish like that on 2# test .Skillful fishin'!

That actually is my fishing buddy Trebbleman. As for the rod, I'd guess 6-12 lb test. But you's have to ask him.

I wouldn't have thought it Chris! But farther casts will be acheived on 2lb. test I'll grant you that . What are the line weight suggestions on that rod .What kind of rod is that?

yeah, on that rod, when we fish from shore larger rods and reels make it easy to cast farther, especially with 2lb test. The Wiper are father out that time of year
