Out of all my lures that spoon casts that farthest with my braided line. I was using 3lb test with a fluorocarbon leader. The spoon wiggles perfect even with the slowest retrieve because there is no slack in the line. It drove the little gills wild today and I was surprised when I nailed this big guy.
