Nice fish Adam, 90% of the crackers I have caught this year has been on the drop shot. This is a great technique for the bottom searching redear. I often catch them close to other sunfish but while a bluegill will take a bait suspended under a float a redear might not. I feel over the years I have fished missed a great number of fish by fishing over their heads. When I find a group of bluegill now I always drop shot the same area and usually pickup some crackers.
