Do you love big bluegill?
8.5'' Bluegill (3-7-14)
Got out on the ice, probably for the last time this year. This was the big bluegill of the day. My dad and I ended up with 13 keeper gills in the 7-8" range and a couple crappies. Still had 8-9" of ice though it was starting to warm up.

Thanks guys, figured I might as well get out there while there's still safe ice. Amazing how this about this time last year I was starting to get ready for open water fishing and it doesn't even seem close to that yet. Glenn, I was fishing Spencer Lake, OH. They were hitting anywhere from 6-7' of water 6-8" off the bottom.
