Not sure yet Jim. I will probably paint and tye some this afternoon for tomorrow. For me they look like they will work well because I use 2lb. test. I think the wire is flatter (forged) and maybe thinner.... The hook point doesn't grab the nail but they are sharp.
I have them in #8 also. Ordered some 8s & 6s in bronze now.
For you real Ultra Light fishing - Captain Hooks has the VMC Barbarian jig hook in a #8 & #10 (red only) on sale right now - cheap. Just picked up 2K each - super deal!
