Hey Jeff, in all seriousness (and to brag just a little, about something other than fishing ;)) it's funny you should mention me being so fit.....

 

Have you ever watched "The Biggest Loser" ??? Well check this out.....

About 22 months ago, I was weighing close to 280 lbs.... My blood pressure was averaging 155/105.... Bad cholesterol 300+ ! Digestion issues like you can't even start to imagine.... Etc, etc, etc !!!

 

Then, one day in Oct. 09', I guess you could say I finally hit rock bottom, and just said, "This is stupid ! I'm killing myself !

So, I just changed "everything". Started eating like a health food freak, started weightlifting, bought a mountain bike, started hill climbing...

In a nutshell, I went from taking zero care of myself, to eating / training like a pro athlete :)

 

So, in the last 20 months, I've lost (we track all this stuff) right at 95 lbs of fat, while gaining just shy of 30 lbs of lean muscle.

My blood pressure now averages 100/58, with a resting heart rate of 56-58. Bad cholesterol is way down too.

 

I truly am a different person.

Hey Jim, well, I have been fishing in "bedding areas"..... but I have rarely been able to sight-fish them, per say.... water is just a little too deep, not perfect vis, then throw in anything from a riple, to straight up choppy water, and I'm pretty much blind fishing.

Then of course, they are just about done spawning now anyway.

 

I don't believe the big Bluegills I've been getting are on beds at all right now..... least wise, on beds in the area I've been gettin g the big RE's....

Now I see why Chris is so fit!  He doen't work out at a gym,.. he works out pulling in those big Sunfish!   Now how many guys here on BigBluegill.com can say they have EVER caught two Redears over 3 Pounds?  Awesome going Chris!  Wow!

Chris...are you still getting those fish off of beds, stitching small crawlers?
