1st Day - 2011 Ice-Out Fishing
The first day, not bad for ice-out fishing on a strange lake in the cold wind. 29 Fish to start the year including taking down 2 chunky carp on the 12' pole with no reel.

Ya my hands were all spiked up. But a fish is a fish in my book. I was headed there to scout out a new bluegill lake - but I only had a few takers.
I won't give up on it -there are a few other sections I have yet to fish.

so it looks like that lake is full of carp and bullheads. That ought to be an interesting one to fish
