Bob Lusk, editor of Pond Boss magazine caught a killer bluegill on August 17, 2008. I think we're gonna need to do a story on this fish. More as it comes out.
That fish was actually not the longest fish in the world--about 10.75 inches, but it's relative weight was something like 160, which means a weight of about 1 lb 11 ounces. That's probably the heaviest fish for it's length that I've ever seen. Here in a little bit I'll be posting Lusk's description of this fish.

What were the stats on length and weight? That's one impressive fish.
