Bruce, of coarse you can. As soon as i can I'll get you more/better/newer pics. That pic is from 1985. That baby is way deeper than those photos tell. Gramps stopped blasting in 87' when he was forced to sell. In this pic My gramps is standing on the L-shaped levy. The creek and the main levy is to the right. Imagine it filled up over the trees. See the hill in the back right corner thats where I come in at to fish and thats how full it is. The barn to the left is where I grew up at. Its around 140ft deep today. Its about 80-90ft deep in that pic, and 100-120yrds wide, 1/8 mile long, I could be off a little. I'll see if I can dig up some zoning/mining permits. I should point out that there is no farm chem runoff, so its super healthy, spring fed from the underground river that flows through fayette county towards chillicothe. All the life forms are so pure, and perfect. Even the snappin turtles are pretty ..oh and HUGE! Trespassing never seemed to be an issue for some reason. If i don't die of cabin fever first I'll take some new pics ASAP. Between this site and pond boss I've got it made as far as knowledge goes. thanks for the feature thats cool.

This picture is amazing.

Two questions:

1. Can you please give us some perspective on the height of those walls and the width of the pit?

2. Can I please copy this picture to the Pond Boss forum's "Ask the Boss"? There are some guys on that site that would think this is pretty remarkable.
