In the north you dont usually see them spawn in Aug,Hence the question of multiple spawn.If the summer in Ohio was anything like it was here in Wi last summer she may not have spawned at all and just had not fully reabsorbed the eggs yet.I know we had a very cool summer here last year.Our Bg's didnt spawn til mid june almost,This must be multiple spawn just noticed this is 08'
