Very old and ugly channel with an interesting story. I was actually trying to catch some bluegill with live bait for once and hooked this on my ultralight rod with 6lb test, alone and with no net. Right when I got it tired and close enough to try to grab it without getting injured, my $100+ St. Croix Ultralight rod snapped in two.Normally, I just do catch and release but, I took revenge on this particular fish by feasting on it. With a side of fries this fish fed 3.
