These two Nebraska Sandhill giants were caught simultaneously and both weighed over two pounds. Both fish were released unharmed. One male and one female.

Males tend to have a larger gill flap than females, and they both look similar in that regard. Doesn't matter, either one is a fish of a lifetime!

You know, it's possible Jeff that the left one is a male. The person who provided the picture to me is a biologist, and I think he believed it to be a female. It is a scanned original photo, so the coloration is pretty deceptive.
