Do you love big bluegill?
Of the four fish I caught, this was the only keeper, about 8" long. It took my buddy and I awhile to realize the fish wanted waxies on a deadstick rod.
We saw a few Jumbos come through on the camera, one Walleye, and my buddy said he saw a Musky following some of the Jumbos.

Thanks gents. Slip, no ATV. We walked out. First stop was about 1/4 mile out, roughly 8 FOW, 9 1/2" of ice. Noticeable current pushing things to the south-west. Second stop was about 1/2 mile out. Wind was at out back walking out, then switched to out of the south, so when we walked back, it was still at our back. Good thing, as I left my balaclava in my truck, along with my ice cleats. I really could have used my ice cleats, as that ice was slick! I'm definitely feeling it today. Walking out was more of a sliding shuffle than a walk for me.
I'm thinking about heading out today, to a nearby lake that gets stocked with Trout.
...did you have ATV s ... how far out were ya?
Way to get out and find a few.
