Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

There's a fly from Ralph's Fly Box that I tie up, called a "Little Crappie Fly". I decided to switch up the colors and go for a White version. Size 12.

LOOKS A LOT LIKE A OLD--- DOLL FLY WE USED TO USE BACK IN THE 60;S !!  WAY DEADLY ON CRAPPIE !!     WE USED TO USE A FLOAT; MEASURED ABOUT 3 FT OR SO ;; ABOVE THE DOLL FLY;; CAST IT OUT;; SLOW RETREIVE BACK;; CRAPPIE COULDNT STAND IT !!      GREAT WORK ALLEN

I got one wet today.  It's got a Tungsten bead, and some lead wire underbody.  It sinks quick!  Definitely needs to be fished in current, or in deeper water.  The Bluegill were definitely interested, but none of them were actually caught.
